# Affinities

SOMOs hold specific Affinities, based on the balance of their power types. The Affinity of a SOMO directly impacts the battle stats. There are four different Affinities:

* Light
* Dark
* True
* Alternative

Each affinity has its place. You'll want to make sure you're covered across all 4.
