$TIME is the core in-game token of the SOMO game and is earned through battles, achievements, and daily challenges. $TIME is designed to be non-transferable during the early period of game development, to encourage utility within the game and ensure sustainable growth of the game economy. However, $TIME will become a transferable on-chain asset at some point in the future.
The primary use case of $TIME will be to purchase in-game assets additive to gameplay, like gear and artifacts. Players will be able to purchase these in-game assets using $TIME and can sell these assets to other players on the secondary marketplace.
Purchasing gameplay assets. Use $TIME to purchase gear and artifacts.
Crafting new items. Craft new gear to enhance your squad and gaming assets.
$TIME is an uncapped supply token that will be continuously distributed to players through daily rewards. The supply schedule of $TIME is designed to be dynamic and to adjust to supply and demand over time.
$TIME that is used through purchasing in-game assets and gameplay will be burned and removed from circulation.
