You can acquire your own piece of the SOMO universe. Enter Land - a source of untold power and potential. These customizable plots serve as your base of operations, allowing you to construct resource-generating facilities and earn passive income. Each player starts with a default F2P land plot of limited size. As you expand and upgrade your land, you'll gain access to new resources and opportunities, giving you a competitive edge in the world of SOMO.
Facilities built on a Player's Land can generate certain resources that are not available as rewards from either PvP or PvE gameplay. These resources can be used in specific features such as:
Recharging artifacts
Evolving SOMOs
Building/ upgrading other Facilities
Forging Cosmetics for SOMOs
Some Facilities allow players to perform research that can enhance the productivity of other facilities, unlock Facilities and/or unlock specific game features. This Research requires an in-game cost - resource and time.
Default F2P Land (Seed Land) can be converted to NFT Land (Alpha Land) in-game at a cost. Alpha Land unlocks extra abilities compared to Seed Land to the Player, including:
Increased selection of facilities and decorations
Increased limit of Facilities levels
Increased limit of possible Land size expansion
Alpha Land can be traded in the marketplace. Once an Alpha Land is transferred, all the facilities, decorations and progress of the facilities will be transferred along with the land. Following transfer, the original owner will start over from a default, empty Seed Land.
Land will be incorporated into a Guild vs. Guild Raid Mechanic.
Within the SOMO World Map, there are limited areas that can be captured by Guilds as their own territory. Capturing a vacant territory requires certain in-game wealth. Territories are required to be maintained with a fee to continue occupation. Exclusive Facilities can be built on Guild Territories. Specific areas in the World map may provide special Facilities as building options. Guild Facilities can be accessed by and provide benefits to all members of the Guild.
Guilds can only occupy one Guild Territory at a time. Guilds that do not occupy a Territory can attack occupied Territories, offering an opportunity to capture and occupy that Territory. These attacks are carried out during a time-limited special PvP game mode that is open to all Guild members.
